Cincinnati Development Academy - 2004 Head Coach

We are extremely excited to announce that Vince Gentile will be the 2004 DA Head Coach for the 2018-19 season. Coach Gentile is one of the most experienced coaches in the Midwest having served as both a Division I college coach and as a director of coaching at St. Louis Scott Gallagher. Coach Gentile’s extensive experience on both sides of the recruiting process will be extremely beneficial to our players as they embark on that journey.

Coach Gentile spent 13 years at SLSG where he was an ECNL Head Coach and coached teams to numerous State and Regional Championships as well as a National Championship. While in St. Louis he also spent 2013-17 as the assistant coach at St. Louis University.

In June of 2017 he moved to Cincinnati to become the Kings Hammer U7-10 Director of Coaching and a CDA Premier 2002 Co-Head Coach. Coach Gentile is also currently an assistant coach with the women’s program at Xavier University.

Coach Gentile holds both the United States Soccer Federation “A” license and the United Soccer Coaches “Premier” license. He was an accomplished player in his own right. During his youth career he was in the Youth National Team pool and he won numerous State and Regional Championships playing for Busch Soccer Club and for the storied Christian Brothers College Prep program. After high school he went on to play at the University of Notre Dame.

Coach Gentile is a life-long Arsenal fan and lover of the beautiful game. We are extremely proud to have a coach of Vince Gentile’s pedigree leading our 2004 DA team.
